Re: Details about company secretary course? If you want to join CS course then You have to complete 15 months training in CS to get the membership of ICSI. This training is compulsory. However you may join the training after CS executive or even after CS professional. You may finish CS in around 3.5 years including the period of training. There are three programmes in this course and they are: Foundation Programme Executive Programme Professional Programme You have to undergo Practical Training for about 15 months which a student may opt to start after passing the Executive Programme. You have done graduation and you need to undergo only two programmes and they are: Executive Programme Professional Programme The only thing you need to do is just register your name for the Executive programme. Foundation Programme which is of eight months duration can be pursued by 10+2 pass students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream. The foundation course is followed by intermediate course which is of 9 months and the same is followed by final course. Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts. Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course. Thanks... |

Dear sir, If you want to start a course of Company Secretary, then you have to apply for the CS foundation examination after 12th and if you want to apply after graduation then you can directly apply to inter examination(2nd stage). When you apply for the registration then they mention that your registration will be valid for 5 years and after that you have to apply for the de-nova registration. The stages and the subjects of CS are- Foundation Level- 1. English 2. law 3. Management. 4. maths Inter Level 1. General and commercial law 2. Cost accounting 3. Tax 4. Company law 5. Economic and labour law 6. Security law Final level 1. Secretarial practice 2. Drafting ,pledging 3. Financial and forex management 4. Merger and restructuring. 5. Information technology 6. Advance taxation 7. business ethics 8. Corporate governance. After passing foundation there will be 9 months gap are their between next level. Between this gap you have to do one computer course and one SIP program and there will be 15 months of training under practicing CS after passing your inter exams All the best. |

COMPANY SECRETARY course managed and conducted by ICSI(Institute of Company Secretary of India) is a correspondence course and can be taken any time of a year. The course comprises of three programs:- FOUNDATION PROGRAM - The candidate having 10+2 from any discipline can be admitted to this program. Course Fee-3,600.00 and Exam Fee-875.00. EXECUTIVE PROGRAM - The candidate having completed Foundation Program or graduation degree from any discipline can be admitted directly to this program. Course Fee-6,500.00 for Foundation program passed, 7,000.00 for Commerce Graduate and 7,500.00 for other graduates with exam fee-900.00. Re: Details about company secretary course? Hi, A candidate can apply for CS course - 1 - After 10 + 2/Senior Secondary/intermediate or 2 - After Graduation (10 + 2 + 3). A student pursuing the course after 10 + 2 has to get through three academic levels to complete the course . Foundation Executive Professionall Eligibility criteria to become a CS - Minimum 10+2 from a recognised board. There is no minimum percentage criteria also. |
