ndian Air Force can be joined through NDA entrance exam after 12th from Science stream and there is no requirement of any percentage of marks criteria for application to NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Hai,

Yeah you are eligible to join Indian Airforce through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

For indian airforce and navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army.

You must be a citizen of india.

You must be physically fit.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Selection process:-

Written examination,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

If you want to join Air Force as an officer after 10+2 then you must complete 10+2 with physics and mathematics.

NDA &NA examination is conducted by UPSC every year for all the three forces of defense.

You must be 10+2 pass to apply for this examination.

As you have said that you have got 54 % marks in 10+2 . You don’t worry about the percentage because for NDA exam there is no percentage criteria.

The percentage criteria is there for Technical Entry Scheme . Hence don’t worry if you have got less percentage.

The selection will be purely based on the performance in the written examination, SSB and medical examination.

If you perform upto the mark in the examination then you stand a chance of getting selected.

Dear Mahendra,

Yes you are eligible to join the Indian Air Force If you have passed 12th with 54% marks having Maths as your main subject.

You can join Indian Air Force through the NDA Examination.

The NDA Examination is conducted every year two times by the Union Public Service Commission as NDA-I & NDA-II.

NDA-I is conducted in the months of April whereas NDA-II is conducted in the months of August.

The Qualifications Required for NDA Examination are :

Educational Qualification:
For the posts of Engineering Executive Trainees (EETs) you need to complete your B.E/B.Tech with an aggregate of 65% or above,taking average of all the Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University. How To Join Air Force After 12th

After completion of your 12th..you can join the Indian Air Force by clearing the CDS (Combined Defense Services) Exam which is conducted every year in the months of Feb and Sept by the UPSC..

A candidate can appear for CDS Exam if the candidate has the following qualifications :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 19-23 years for Air Force..

>> Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University..

There is no minimum percentage criterion for appearing for this exam..you must have the degree to appear for this exam..

The written exam will test you on the topics related to :-

>> general awareness
>> english
>> maths

Dear friend,its not possible to join defence forces after scoring 54% in your class 12th exams because the eligibility requires you to get atleast 60% in 12th to be eligible for writing the exam .

sorry to say that you are not eligible for this exam, .because for appear in NDA examination you must have to complete your 12th in PCM(PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY MATHS).
also you must have to pass them with at least 60%.
the age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19.
there is no any kind of age relaxation for SC\ST\OBC candidates.

this exam is only for unmarried males.....

If you are between 17 to 19.5 yrs in age then you can join air force through NDA.

Beside this also you can apply for apply for IAF,through Category X or Y ,qualification required Diploma in engineering or graduate in arts.

After B.Tech you can apply through UES also.

Yes you can join IAF after cracking NDA exam,which is held twice every year.
NDA-1 :notification is released in the month of april-may,in employment news and other leading news papers.
NDA-2 :notification is released in the month of october-november,in employment news and other leading news papers.
You will only able to join it only if you score very well,and also if you belongs to backward communities.

Don't loose hope. secure above 60% in graduation and then apply for CDS exam. after cracking this exam , you would be able to join IAF. you have another chance if you belongs to backward classes.you can appear in NDA exams .

Indian Air Force can be joined through NDA after 10+2.
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and it is conducted twice every year -
In the month of April and August.

If you clear 12 board exam, then you are eligible to write NDA exam and opt Indian Air Force if you are a science student.

Your have 54% marks in 12th but It is necessary to have atleast 60% in order to be eligible for air force but dont leave hope because there are a number of fields and can succeed anywhere with your hard work and scope given.
