ENTRANCE EXAM NEEDED FOR TAMILNADU ENGINEERING COLLEGES No, there is no need of giving entrance exam to join in Tamilnadu engineering colleges. -> It was 5 years before where students have to write a entrance exam to get inside the engineering colleges where the cut-off was out of 300, where 100 for maths, 100 for physics and chemistry and 100 for entrance exam. -> Now the cut-off as changed to 200, where 100 for maths and 100 for physics and chemistry. So no entrance exam is included. -> So you just have to apply for the counselling by filling the form in any of the anna university college and wait for the date for counselling and select the college depending upon your wish which is available for your cut-off. -> But however some of the private engineering college's do conduct some entrance exam for their own need. So it depends if you join in private colleges. -> To joing IIT and other top institutes you do have to write entrance exam like IIT - JEE, AIEEE etc. -> So try to get more marks in your 12th grade which decided your future engineering college..
