Re: Can we do IPCC after graduation? Hi.i have done b.tech(ECE) with 65% in 2012.now i want to do CA.Is it a gud decision for my career to be bright as an CA since i was a non-commerce background.pls help me in this regard! Thank you! |

Re: Can we do IPCC after graduation? If you fulfill following criteria then you are eligible to apply for IPCC directly. Graduation in Commerce with 55% marks from a recognized University OR Graduation in non Commerce subjects with 60% marks from a recognized University If you don't fulfill the above criteria then you have to appear for CPT and qualify it with minimum required marks. Subjects in IPCC: Group I -Paper 1: Accounting (100 marks) -Paper 2: Business Laws, Ethics and Communication (100 marks) Part I: Business Laws (60 marks) comprising Business Laws (30 marks) Company Law (30 marks) Part II: Ethics (20 marks) Part III: Communication (20 marks) -Paper 3: Cost Accounting and Financial Management (100 marks) Part I: Cost Accounting (50 marks) Part II: Financial Management (50 marks) -Paper 4: Taxation (100 marks) Part I: Income-tax (50 marks) Part II: Service Tax (25 marks) and VAT (25 marks) Group II -Paper 5: Advanced Accounting (100 marks) -Paper 6: Auditing and Assurance (100 marks) -Paper 7: Information Technology and Strategic Management (100 marks) Section A: Information Technology (50 marks) Section B: Strategic Management (50 marks) For registration of CA IPCC online visit http://www.icaiexam.icai.org/ |

Re: Can we do IPCC after graduation? Yes, why not . IPCC exam is conducted by icai you can do this just after graduation . you need only need 55% to 60% marks in graduation . It has a vary big scope , you can good job in future. thus please do not hesitate and crack it by hard work. Good luck. |

Yes,you can do the ipcc after graduation.Now you can also do the ca with out the entrance test with certain requirements.If you failed in those requirements you can do by writing the exam. here iam enclosing the pdf file which gives the detailed information about it |

IPCC stands for Integrated Professional Competence Course Exam of IPCC is conducted by Institute for Charted Accountant of India. It is one of the exam the candidates who are interested in the CA course after getting through the CA,CPT. By regarding this exam you can directly go for CA without CA CPT exam. The duration of this course is minimum 9 months.Graduates are eligible to apply directly to integrated profession competance course. Eligibility criteria: *In case of commerce graduates with minimum 55% aggregate percentage. *Non commerce graduates with 60% percentage. *There is no age criteria. *The candidates who are completed their 12th or graduation they candirectly appear the IPCC exam. best of luck. umang_28 |

The ICAI course structure ....  But now ICAI has introduced a new rule where graduate Students can skip CPT exam & can enter direct in IPCC exam... Anyway you can apply for admission into Integrated Professional Competence Course which is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy Course after completing graduation. ICAI has made relaxation for graduates to get direct admission for Integrated Professional Competence Course. However to do so, you must meet the following criteria. The commerce stream graduates must score at least 55 percent marks in graduation while non commerce graduates need at least 60 percent marks in graduation in order to get direct admission into Integrated Professional Competence Course. If you meet this criteria then feel free to get direct admission. Otherwise you will have no other option but to appear for the Common Proficiency Test. I don't think it should be a problem for you. Common Proficiency Test is conducted for bi annual basis. You can appear for it in June or in December. A candidate should score minimum of 30 percent marks in both groups of Common Proficiency Test. There are 4 sections in the test that are divided into two groups. 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude If you are meeting the percentage criteria for IPCC, the directly apply for it without appearing for Common Proficiency Test. There are total of 7 papers divided into two groups for IPCC. Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management |

Re: Can we do IPCC after graduation? Hello friend, You can absolutely do IPCC after your graduation. IPCC stands for Integrated Professional Competence Course. It is the second stage of CA course. You can do this course if:- 1.You have qualified CPT. 2.You have completed your graduation with 55% if you are from Commerce stream. 3.If you are from non commerce stream,you need to score 60% in your graduation. There are two groups in IPCC:- 1.Group I. 2.Group II. Group I contains 4 subjects while Group II contains 3 subjects. You can go for the next stage of articleship after qualifying Group I of IPCC. You can appear for both the groups at one attempt or you can individually appear for both the groups. To qualify IPCC,you should get 40% in each subject and overall 50%. After your articleship,you can appear in the final of CA course. Thanks. Vikas. |

If you are willing to pursue the course, you have got to qualify Common Proficiency Test to be eligible to move further in the course. In order to give the test, you need to register just couple of month prior to commencement of the test and as far as registration fee is concerned, it is Rs.6500. So, as you can see that the test is neither very expensive nor it is too much time consuming, it is not too difficult to go for it until and unless you are well prepared. So, whatever the circumstances are, as there is no option available for you, you have got to register for the test and qualify it, in order to be considered eligible to pursue the course. |
