Many of the public sector undertakings recruit candidates who have done their M.Sc in Chemistry by conducting entrance exam.
They can get jobs in various

They can also join in Petroleum companies such as Bharath Petroleum, Indian Oil Corporation etc.

Many research institutes in our country are in need of professionals in field of chemistry.

Dear friend,

Being very frank I want to tell you that there is not much scope of B.Sc course. As Bachelor in Science is just a simple graduation course. So, on the basis of your Bachelor degree you can't expect good job. I am not saying that there is no scope in chemistry field. But your simple graduation degree can't give you good job. In order to getting a good job or getting job in any college as a teacher/ professor you have to go for Master's degree course.

Chemistry is a good subject which is a broad field. Any course related to chemistry will make your importance in job field. Chemistry is the field of science which deals with the study of a range of matters such as atoms, crystals, molecules and many other collections of matters. Chemistry can also be say as father of science. B.Sc course is a undergraduate degree course.

As I have already told you that you can't expect any good job just after completing Bachelor's degree course. You must have to go for Master's degree course in order to get good job with good salary. With B.Sc degree you can't get job even in any good school/college. For joining school/college also you have to undergo for master's degree course.

Various Master's degree course after Bachelor's degree course:-
  • M.Sc. Drug Chemistry
  • M.Sc. Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • M.Sc. Physical & Materials Chemistry
  • M.Sc. Chemistry
  • M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry
These master's degree courses are related to Chemistry field. These courses will increase your knowledge about your chemistry field. These courses also help you in gaining more knowledge about your subjects.

Apart from these courses there is also one course which is Master in Business Administration (MBA) course. Through this course you can surely get a good job with excellent salary.

Various posts for which you can apply:-
  • Lab Chemist
  • Materials Technologist
  • Production Chemist
  • Production Officer
  • Quality Controller
  • R&D Director
  • Biomedical Chemist
