Re: What are the different courses in Biotech? thanks for the detailed information about the courses relating to biotechnology. having done and completed my diploma course in agriculture and biotechnology, my interest is to pursue >/b.tech in biotechnology in any recognized university. am currently working with research organization. can i get support? |

Different courses that are available for biotechnology are:
To take admission in BSc and B.tech minimum qualification required is 10+2 with physics, chemistry, maths and bio. In BSc admission will be through merit list and for B.tech you have to write entranc exam for it like JEE Mains, UPSEE,WBJEE etc. After BSc you can go for MSc and after B.tech you can go for M.tech if you wish for higher education in this field. Its a new and growing field with great future! Best of luck! |

Hi Guest, In Bio Tech there are many different courses and the list of courses are as follows: B.E in Bio Technology (4 Years Course) B.Tech (Industrial Bio Technology) B.Tech in Bio Tech Genetic Engineering (4 Years Course) B.Tech in Bio Tech Bio Chemical (4 Years Course) B.Tech in Bio Tech Industrial Micro Biology And there are few other courses and the courses vary with the type of university you are going to study. In engineering, there will be courses like B.E/B.Tech in Biotechnology, M.E in Biotechnology and B.Tech + M.Tech in Biotechnology. B.Sc courses are available in Biotechnology or Applied Biotechnology. B.E + MBA in Biotechnology are another demanded course. You can select a course according to your interest and present qualification. |
