NAVY - Graduation Pass with Phy and Maths as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH Officers Training Academy- Graduation Pass in any Stream AIRFORCE- Graduation Pass with Phy and Maths as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH Indian Military Academy - Graduation Pass in any Stream AGE LIMITS IMA- Between 19- 24 years OTA Between 19- 25 years NAVY - Between 19- 22 years AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years Only MALE candidates can apply FEMALE candidates are allowed to apply for the OTA wing only Next CDS exams will be held on 8th Sep 2013 Notification will come out on 25th May 2013 |

Re: Can I apply for Navy and Air Force after completing graduation in BCA with 64% Yes you can apply for CDS examination if you want to join Air Force or Navy. One must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university for CDS examination. You are a BCA graduate hence you are definitely eligible for CDS examination. The age criteria for CDS examination is as follows: -Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years -Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years. -Indian Military Academy- 19 to 24 years -Officers Training Academy - 19 to 25 years If you satisfy the age criteria then you can apply for CDS examination. How To Join Armed Forces After Graduation After graduation you can opt for going in for Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE) which is conducted every year by the UPSC in the months of February and September.. Education Qualification A candidate should be graduate in any discipline and should have 60% in graduation. Best of luck

Re: Can I apply for Navy and Air Force after completing graduation in BCA with 64% You are Graduate from BCA , you are eligible to apply in CDSE examination in navy and air force provided you have completed your 12th with maths and physics as your main subject else you are eligible for Army wing. UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) twice every year for the recruitment of officers in Army, Air Force and Navy. Eligibility For CDSE Age limit: 19-23 yr . Bachelor Degree of recognized University in any discipline Unmarried Man/Women Selection process Include Written test Personal Interview Medical Test Written Test Pattern The written test comprises of three papers of 2 hours duration each. The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Navy and Air Force, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 22 years for Navy and from 19 to 23 years for Air Force with good Physical and Mental health. Re: Can I apply for Navy and Air Force after completing graduation in BCA with 64% You can apply only for flying branch in Airforce only if you have passed class 12th with physics and maths ,and 60% marks in graduation in any stream, otherwise you are not eligible. Last date for applying is 8 Jan 2013. You should visit www.careerairforce.nic.in for applying in flying branch. |

Re: Can I apply for Navy and Air Force after completing graduation in BCA with 64% You can join Indian Navy and Air Force through CDS entrance exam after Graduation from science stream provided you have required eligibility. CDS - Combined Defence Service, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Navy and Air Force, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies with good Physical and Mental health. As you are pursing BCA, after completion of which you can apply for Indian Navy and Air Force with the aforesaid eligibility. You can also join Indian Air Force as Flying officer/Technical officer/Ground Duty officer through AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) conducted by Air Force. The elgible candidate should have completed Graduation with 60% marks from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 28 years. Re: Can I apply for Navy and Air Force after completing graduation in BCA with 64% Yes dear you can apply for airforce exam after completing your bca.you have to give afcat or cds exam.cds exam is conducted every year twice by upsc while afcat exam is conducted every year twice. ELIGIBILITY: <>You should have graduation degree from a recognised university. <>your age should be between 18 to 25 years. <>you must be a citizen of india. If you fulfill these criteria then apply for these exams and you will get job. Best of luck |
