The CBI has to investigate major crimes in the country having interstate and international ramifications. If you are interested in CBI you must crack the CGLE (Combined Graduate Level Examination) Which is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) in yearly ones. The Eligibility Criteria For CGLE :- Educational Qualifications : - you must complete your graduation from any recognization university Age Limit : - your age between 20 to 27 years, and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per norms............ Re: Information about CBI entrance exam?  If you are become a CBI officer and to eligible the CGPE(Combined Graduation Preliminary Exam) entrance exam you need to satisy the criteria. This CGPE exam is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification: The Candidate should be Complete the Graduation from any Recongnized University. There is no need to marks Percentage to Eligible this exam The Final year Candidates are also Eligible to apply this exam Age Limit: The Age should be between 20 to 27 years. OBC Candidates relaxation is 3 years SC/ST Candidates age relaxation is 5 years *Male and Female are Eligible to apply this exam and the candidate should be citizen of India. This exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) To become CBI officer and to eligible the CGPE entrance exam you need to satisfy the criteria so you can see the below criteria Educational Qualification: The candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. And the candidate no need to any marks percentage to eligible this exam. The final years pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply this exam. Age limit: The candidate age should be in between 20 to 27 years. The age relaxation applicalable for other categories. The relaxation for obc candidates is 3 years and 5 years age relaxation for sc/st categories. Gender: Both male and female candidate eligible to become am CBI officer but should be citizen of india. Physical Requirements: Height: For men- 165 cms for women- 155 cms Chest: Un expanded- 77cms expanded- 82 cms Eye Sight with glasses or without glasses Weight: Pornstionate to height and as per medical standard in force. Re: Information about CBI entrance exam? In order to become a CBI officer you need to give an exam conducted by UPSC. This exam is also know as the Combined Graduate Level Examination. They conduct this exam once a year for the post of sub inspectors in CBI. Eligibility Criteria: =>To sit for this exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. =>Age limit: 20-27 years. =>There is age relaxation for the SC/ST and OBC candidates. It is upto 5 years for the SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years for the OBC candidates. Scheme of Examination: >Written Exam >Main Written Exam >Personality Test. You also have to go through physical endurance test or PET in short. Both the written exam will have objective type questions and the duration of each tier is 2 hours. Re: Information about CBI entrance exam? The Central Bureau of Investigation is an agency which detects crime and helps to solve cases. If you wish to join the CBI, you must take the Union Public Service Commission Examination. Candidature for qualifying the examination is graduation with a minimum of 55% marks. |

Re: Information about CBI entrance exam? Hi dear..  To join the CBI, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection commission) every year. Candidate opting this field need to be very brave, hardworking, honest as well as tactful as he has to deal with so many high profile people.. This is a job of person with fire in him but that should be controlled by him and should be used as and when required during their raids and investigation judicially. Eligibility criteria required to be CID/CBI :- • You should have a Bachelor degree of any stream. • Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date • Upper age limit relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates • Physical Requirements • Height o For men -165cms. o For women -150cms o Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms • Chest o 76cms. with expansion • Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) o Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. o NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye The examination comprises of two papers. 1. General intelligence & awareness 2. Arithmatic After clearing the preliminary exam you have to for the Main exam. If you make it through, you will be a part of most reputed CBI All the best..!! |
