Re: How can I apply for CTET exam after doing NTT course? You simply can not apply for the CTET exam with Nursery Teachers Training course. There are other educational requirements to appear for the CTET exam. Besides the CTET entrance exam is conducted to recruit teachers for Class I to Class VIII in government schools. CTET stands for Central Teachers Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by the central government to recruit teachers for schools funded by the central government. Such schools are Tibetan Schools, Kendriya Vidhalaya. The Central Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by the Central Board of Seconday Education on the behalf of Ministry of Human Resources and Development. The exam was introduce to raise the bar of education in government schools. It was introduce simontenously for central government and state government schools. While CBSE was given the responsibility to conduct the CTET exam for the central government schools, Education Boards of respective states conducts the TET exam. The requirements for CTET and TET exams are the same. However exam pattern and syllabus is different. CTET exam is far more difficult comparing to the TET. Only 7 percent candidates out of 4 Lakhs, manages to clear the CTET Exam. Eligibility Criteria 1. The candidate should be Indian Citizen. 2. A graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. 3. and a B.Ed degree after the completion of graduation course. 4. At least 55 percent marks in B.Ed. 5. There is no age limit to appear for the CTET Exam. |
