Hello......You can apply as a deck cadet on the basis of your 10+2 marks which should have been more than 55 percent in PCM and 50 percent in english.You must fill the IMUCET form as that is the requirement for later on approaching the sponsoring companies.you must be physically fit with 6/6 vision and no colour blindness. Re: How to join Merchant Navy after diploma in Production Technology? The basic qualification required is 12th standard. Since you have completed diploma you can join by writing entrance exam like OPENNET, IIT entrance exam etc. You can either go for engineering and then join on the technical side or you could join the deck side. |
