Hi Guest, There are three formulas to solve the time and distance problems, they are as follows: Speed=Distance/Time Time=Distance/Speed Distance=Speed*Time In order to get ease in solving the problems you need to practice more problems. The basic formula involved in solving ttme and distance problems is Speed=distance/time Now in this particular formula there's no place to enter a trick. All you can do is practice more and more and eventually you'll become a pro in these kind of problems. For practicing the questions, you should buy a book on quantitative aptitude by r s agrwal. Hi Time and Distance problems can usually be solved by the simple formulas :- Time = Distance/Speed Speed = Distance/Time Distance = Speed * Time If you know these, you would be able to solve the basic and above basic problems of the Time and Distance. But yeah you have to apply some brain in the higher level problems and that would take time. As such there is no shortcut way to solve these problems. You have to practice these questions and versatile questions as much as you can. Practice would make your perfect and reduce the time taken by you per question to a lot extent. However if you study from R.S Aggarwal Quantitative Aptitude then you would get some small tips and shortcuts to solve Time Speed Distance problems from there.
