Re: Need information on MSc physics or integrated Phd The Department of Physics offers a two year M. Sc. (Physics) degree programme with optional courses in several areas such as Materials Science, Condensed Matter Physics, Biophysics, Nuclear Techniques, Accelerator Physics, Laser Physics, Non-linear Phenomena and Physics of Nanostructures etc. The admissions of Indian candidates are through a national level entrance examination. The advertisement is put up in print media as well as on the webpage around March/April. The entrance examination is held in June. The first semester starts around the end of July. Non-Indian candidates are requested to contact International Students Centre for queries regarding admissions. |

Re: Need information on MSc physics or integrated Phd Dear Friend, you can complete your M.Sc course from some of the important colleges: 1.Aligarh muslim university 2.IITs 3.Calcutta University. to take admission in those colleges you have to score more than 60% in Bachelor degree. Good luck. |

Re: Need information on MSc physics or integrated Phd GOOD decision! for best career profile i will advice you to do it from the followings:- 1)IITK- physics deprtment of iitk is one of top most in india.you have to appear for ( IIT-JAM) for getting addmission. 2)mysore university offers 5years integrated m.sc.(physics) with a stipend of rs.1000 a month. 3)as you have completed your b.sc. from DU you can also complete your m.sc. there. 4)jadavpur university(JU).
