Law as a career has increasingly become very attractive and lucrative for students because the field has broadened its horizon and now there is scope and opportunities for all category of students. There are quite a number of Law Entrance Exams that you can give to pursue this course. CLAT is the most popular one right now.

CLAT Eligibility Criteria:-

You need to be a higher secondary passed out student or its equivalent. It is important for you to score 50% of marks in aggregate.
For SC/ST/OBC candidates or physically handicapped ones the percentage to secure is 45% of marks.
If you are a final year student about to give the final board exam or awaiting the result of the final year exam then also you are eligible to give this exam.
The upper age limit for this exam is 20 years. This rule is applicable for general category candidates.
There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For reserved category candidates the upper age limit is 22 years.
In order to get the application kit for this exam by spending Rs. 3000 from any branches of State Bank of India when the notifications for this exam is released.
You can also get the application kit by sending a demand draft to the national law university in charge for conducting the exam that year. They will send you the brochure along with the form.
