Re: Can I apply for NDA after passing 12th with PCM? I am 16 years old Yes you can apply to NDA & NA Exams after 12th PCM,but since your age is 16yrs you have to wait for sometime before applying. Minimum age to apply to NDA Exams is 16.5yrs. UPSC conducts the NDA & NA Exams. UPSC NDA Exams is conducted twice a year for candidates. Candidates are selected for recruitment in the Army,Airforce and Navy wing of the defence services exam as Officers. Eligibilty for the NDA & NA Exams : Age Limit : Unmarried Indian males only in the age group of 16.5-19yrs can apply. Minimum age 16.5 years Maximum age- 19 years No relaxation of age limit for any category. For the next NDA exams Candidates born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997 can apply. Educational Qualification : Army Wing-12th Class Pass/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Board/Equivalent. Airforce Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent. Navy Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent. NDA stands for National Defence Academy .This examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of Army, Naval and Air Force Wings . If you have completed 12th standard from science background then you are applicable for all post conducted by NDA .But commerce and Arts stream are applicable only Indian army post.Final year of 12th standard candidate are also applicable. As per education qualification you are applicable for NDA exam . Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old.You must be unmarried male candidate and you have citizenship of India. But as per age criteria you are not applicable for NDA exam.But after completion of 16.5 years old you are applicable NDA exam . Iam sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA exam, as per your educational qualification you are eligible but the minimum age limit is 16.5years so at the of 16 years you are not eligible for NDA. The complete details about NDA are given below: Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board or any university. Percentage is not important to apply this exam. For indian navy and airforce you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army. You must be a citizen of india. You must be physically fit. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e Girls are not eligible. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years. Re: Can I apply for NDA after passing 12th with PCM? I am 16 years old no dear you cannot apply for the NDA exam as you are only 16 years of age. for GATE exam the eligibility is of 16.5 to 19 years. So you should apply for the NDA-2 exam which is conducted in August to be eligible. at that time you will be eligible. good luck |

I am 16 years old Hello Dear, Right now your age is 16 year. so you are not eligible for NDA exam because you are underage but If at the time of notification your age will be 16.5 year then you can apply for for this exam because 16.5 is the minimum age limit. Eligibility Criteria Candidate should be completed /appearing 12th with subject maths and physics Age of the candidate should be 16.5 to 19year. candidate must be male and unmarried female candidate are not eligible for NDA exam candidate should be Indian Next notification= Date Date of notification= 04/05/2013 Last date of receiving application= 03/06/2013 Date of examination= 11/08/2013 |

As per your age criteria you are not eligible for NDA Examination because minimum age for NDA is 16.5 years, More Information about NDA NDA - National Defence Academy, this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I NDA - II NDA have three wings i.e. Indian Air Force Indian Navy Indian Army Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination >> Candidates must have 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) from any recognized institution >> Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, there is no age relaxation for this examination >> Candidates should be a citizen of India >> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination Selection Procedure Written Examination Medical Test Personnel Interview Physical Standard
