Dear Aspirant, If you had already registered for the companies through gate scores.Before writing the exam. By that if you get a good score.You can be eligible for the interviews directly.Some times you will be given the call letter based on the company's. Also when you get the good score.Which is given a AIR rank. By that you can get the seats in the IIT's and the NIT's of India. Re: Future prospects of a student who clears GATE? once you've cleared GATE, you have a wide range of options set before you. you can go for the masters degree M.Tech from any of the respected technical institutions of india, IITs, NITs. your admission in these institutes will depend on this that how well your score is. the better score will lead you to the good college. These days, many of the government sector companies have also started their recruitment onto the basis of your gate score card. therefore, if you want to apply for the government job, you can do that too. gud luck |

HELLO FRIEND.. a student with good GATE score have many options open to him/her.. 1.)get into M.TECH in any iit or nit or ip univ or other good university.. 2.)join in ph.d in many reputed institutes like B.A.R.C or others.. 3.)there is also option of job with good GATE score in companies like O.N.G.C who hire candidates directly on gate basis.. if you choose to do m.tech.. then you will have option of joining any MNC or working as a lecturer in some high profile college.. after ph.d you can join research wing of any MNC or in D.R.D.O.. so... in all.. life get lots and lots of options to choose from.. dont worry.. good luck..

Hello friends, Attachment 128429Attachment 128430Attachment 128431 ::::::::::::::::::GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering::::::::::::::::::::::::::: M.tech is suitable course for GATE students,GATE is technology field,and MBA is commerce and accounts stream,so MBA is not suitable for GATE students .but M.tech is suitable for GATA students.There are many job options for M.Tech like Network Planning Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Test Engineer, Technical Director, Senior Sales Manager, Software Engineer, Electronics and Communication Consultant, Research and Development Engineer, Customer Support Engineer. I am confused whether to pursue MBA or MTECH in future .So,I wanted a sincere expert advice regarding this...... |

Re: Future prospects of a student who clears GATE? Hi GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is basically conducted by the IIT's and IIM's to select the candidates for the M.Tech courses. Now this exam basically tests the knowledge of the students on their graduation in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharmacy. So all the syllabus that is taught in the 4 years of graduation is the syllabus for the GATE. Now GATE has certain other advantages also which I am going to enlist. Suppose a student does well in GATE exam, scores a good score, and gets a good AIR(All India Rank), then he/she would have the following benefits : 1. He/She may easily get admission in any IIT's, NIT's or BITS, for continuing studies for the Master's in Technology Courses. 2. From 2012, the PSU's have decided to recruit through the GATE score and rank, so there also they may get well placed in some PSU, and secure their future. 3. If a candidate is applying for a private job off campus, then also the GATE score is handy as it defines the quality of knowledge you hold of your graduation. 4. GATE has not imposed any age or attempt limits. So year after year you can retake attempts and refine and improve your results. So in a way, GATE exam is always benefiting the future of the candidates who apply and sit for it. So whether or not a candidate wants to pursue M.Tech or not, I suggest every engineer should sit atleast once for the GATE exam. Hope this helps Regards #RJ#

It immensely helps in developing your career as you are going to be at the entrance of your master’s degree. You'll get better opportunities to bring your career on a fast track with the mncs. -after qualifying gate you'll be called by iits , nits & other institutions for counseling. You can then opt for the branch, you want to specialize in. After successfully qualifying gate, candidates are eligible to pursue doctoral programme in any chosen discipline of science such as mathematics, statistics, and computer application. If you have scored well, then you are eligible to pursue m.tech from any of the leading institutes of india. Additionally, after qualifying gate, candidates become eligible for jrf (junior research fellowship) in the csir laboratories. -for the candidates who wish to appear for and qualify gate, pay your full attention to your studies right from the beginning. You can join a good institute for better preparation & regular update about the questions asked during the exam. Try to follow some study material for gate as it seems to be of great use to everyone. For a GATE qualified person , he have lots of opportunity,in every field , hewant to do M.tech then he can take admission in any college on the basis of Gate rank, otherwise he want to do job then he can do it because he got bonus by GATE card in any company, and he also can apply in GOVT sector that is IOCL, in IOCL you can apply through GATE score card. |

You can apply for studying M.Tech in the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. Also you can apply for jobs in the Govt sector and as well as in the private sector with the GATE score. candidates with a good GATE score are preferred first. So just crack it. A GATE qualified candidate can apply for M.Tech in any IITs,NITs or any of the government universities.Or any body can join a government research institute as a JRF candidates.Or For pursuing Phd there is GATE score is required. Some where GATE qualified candidates are given advantage. |
