HI,
After B.Arch you are not eligible for I.E.S exam.

All the candidate who pass the B.Tech in following branch are eligible for Exam:-

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Age limit of I.E.S exam is 21-30 year..

I am a final year B Arch student . I want to pursue for IAS and IFS. Am i eligible to appear for UPSC exams. I am not looking for IES but only interested for IAS and IFS. Kindly Help.

there is no optional subject for architecture students . I don't think it will be easier to appear this exam.

definitely, you are eligible for IES in UPSC Exam.

the criteria which is required to attain in the IES exam is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering with 60% marks in graduation.

2.age limit is 21-29 years.

but then you should have done your b arch degree from a recognized college or university.........

don't worry your friend is elligible for IES exam which is conducted by upsc. for your conveniance i had attached a file containing the full elligibility criteria and several helpful information about IES .

Yes you eligible for IES exam and from this year onwards the specialization paper is not their..and pattern is common for all.

Eligibility
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 for admission in graduation Program from any recognized Board.
For Admission in Post graduate program the Candidate Should have passed Gradate degree from any recognized university.
