YES, you can take admissions in B.TECH civil engineering. first condition is you have passed a diploma in same branch i.e.civil engineering. every year all engineering college after completing a counseling of state PET. offer to diploma and B.SE student for lateral entry for B.E./B.TECH 2nd year directly but you should passed with maximum percentage in final year. so.here time has come please see news paper and college website they are invited shortly for lateral entry. best of luck. |

All you need to do is to qualify the Entrance test for the diploma holders. There are several exams all over the country. Different state level exams are there to apply for. BUt generally to apply for B.Tech in Civil Engg, you need to have a diploma in the same, i.e, Civil Engineering. Almost every college in India offering BTech degrees offers lateral entry programmes.
