NDA stands for National Defence Academy.  Sorry, but you are not able to appear for NDA examination. The educational qualification regarding with NDA are below mentioned:- * A candidate must be an Indian. * A candidate must have finished 12th from any accredited board. * Age criteria- The age of a candidate must be lie in between 16.5-19 years. * A candidate must be a male. * A candidate must be unmarried/single. Re: Can I apply for NDA exam this year if I am 20 years old? N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. After passing 12th candidate will apply in this exam. Candidate must also be within the following age limits :- 19-22 years for Navy 19-23 years for Air Force 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy 19-25 years for Officer's Training Academy If you want to join Indian Defence you can apply after passing graduation also. After graduation you will have to qualify the entrance exam like C.D.S. C.D.S is Combine Defence Services C.D.S exam is alos conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. Hi Aspirant Sorry to say that you can't apply for the National Defence Services exam at the age of 20 years as for the NDA Exam the Minimum age qualifications required is 16.5 years and the maximum age required for the exam is 19 years and as you said your age is 20 years so you are not eligible for the exam now. Better would be to apply for any other exam after your graduation as their is many exams which is like this exam so better would be to apply for any other exam. You Can apply for the combine defence services exam which is also quite similar to this exam but just qualification changes and also the age criteria for the cds exam. For the Cds exam the Candidate just need to be pass in the graduation degree and also for the Indian air force and Naval department you should have been pass in 12th with physics and maths but for Indian military academy and officer's training academy department you just need graduation. The age required for this exam is between 19-25 years and also their is no provision for the age relaxation for any of the category. Best of luck |

 Sorry to say but you cannot apply for the NDA exam at an age of 20 years. NDA Exam stands for National Defense Services Exam which is conducted two times by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The NDA Exam is conducted under the names of NDA-I & NDA-II respectively in the months of April and August. The Eligibility Criteria that one should have are mentioned below : a) Educational Qualifications : 12th with PCM. b) Age Limit : 16.5-19 years. c) You must be an Indian Citizen. d) Physical Standards :  The Pattern Of The NDA Exam is :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query.  The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy. Sorry to say that you cannot apply for NDA examination as per as your age. The UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts the NDA examination twice every year in the months of June and December as NDA-I and NDA-II. NDA has three wings:- * Indian Navy. * Indian Army. * Indian Air Force. The selection procedure of the NDA are below mentioned:- * Written examination. * SSB interview. * Medical examination. Sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA(National Eligibility Test) exam because the maximum age limit is 19 years, already you are crossed the age limit so you are not eligible for NDA exam. The total details are given below. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be a citizen of india OR A subject of bhutan, OR A subject of Nepal, OR A tibetian refugee who came over india permanently. The candidate must be physically fit. The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board. No need of percentage restrictions to appear the exam. The age limits are 16.5years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible for this exam. So there is nothing you can do about NDA , As you are over-aged .But you can try for the CDSE. So, I would suggest you , to prepare for the CDS Examination, CDS stands for the COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAMINATIONS , .. This CDS exam is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) every year for two times . The educational requirement for this examination is a graduation degree from a recognized college. Through this CDS exam, one can apply for the INDIAN AIR FORCE, INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY, INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY & OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY. So, If you want to join Indian army, this could be the way for you , to make it for it. Educational requirement for this examination is a graduation degree ,., But If you are a IAF(INDIAN AIR FORCE) or NA(NAVAL ACADEMY) aspirant, you must have PHYSICS & MATHS in 10+2+3,. Also , you must have scored at least 60% in it. Otherwise, you can only apply for the IMA(INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY) & OTA(OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY). Exam pattern- PHYSICAL TEST-  The age limit for this examination is - For IAF it is - 19-23 years For NA- 19-22 YEARS, For IMA- 19-24 YEARS For OTA-19-25 years,..
