Re: How much money can I make being a Computer Engineer? your earning is totally depend upon in which company you work,your hard work and presentation towards your work.....basically an software engineer salary is around 30-40 thousand but if you work hard then your salary will become upto 60 thousand.....so better you work hard for it..... i wish you all the best and achieve your goals.. |

And it is the best engineering stream. Just work hard and prepare yourself very well. Most of the software companies are depending on the fresher. There are many job opportunities for computer engineer. You can earn 3 lakhs per year. The programming languages are very important you must be very strong in C,C++,Java,J2EE,EJB,.Net,Oracle. Re: How much money can I make being a Computer Engineer? Dear friend, the average initial package of a computer engineer is 3.5 lakhs per annum. As you gain experience, your package will increase. And yes, you can buy mercedes if you work hard. Just try to design a new software that has never been designed and you will have laddus in your both hands. |

Re: How much money can I make being a Computer Engineer? well your salary depend upon which company you are working and at which post you are working. basically in the beginning you will get 30000 but after some period of time your salary will increase and may go upto 60-70 thousand a month and if you perform well then you will get promotion and after that your salary will be almost 1 lakh a month. |

You can see the actual salaries that people are earning at different companies. For a Software Engineer check out this page http://www.jobnob.com/software-engineer-salary where they have over 19,000 salaries at 4,500 companies. In Southern California, for 2007, software engineer holding a BSEE or BSCE, non-manager position earns: Out of school: 60-65 K / year. 3-8 years experience: 75-90K / year. Principal/Senior: 100 -120K /year. Expert: 140K /year. Big companies pay much more than small companies. An engineer that is expertise in narrow field earn more than one who is a general programmer. |
