In 1953 she was elected President of the UN General Assembly, the first ( and to date, oneof only two) women to serve in this position. Mr. V. K. Krishna Menon also addressed UNGA in 1953-1962 Mr. Rajeshwar Dayal was first IndianPermanent Representative of India in UN. Good Luck.... |
