no dear,there is no requirement of percentage for I.A.S exam.you should have graduation degree from any recognized university of india.......

There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in Graduation to appear for the IAS exam.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University wthin the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

Hi Aspirant

It's good to see first your interest in the post like ias and which is totally devoted for the country and service for the country and one of the best job of all time.

And their is no need to worry much as dear their is no need of any specific qualifications required for the exam as for the exam you just need a graduation degree from a recognized Indian university.

Age :

For the candidate of open it is 21 to 30 years
Relaxation as per the rules

Attempts :

Also it is 4 for the general
And for the obc 7 attempts
For the sc,st unlimited attempts allowed

Citizen :

-Indian

No, there is no standard being set to obtain in the qualifying examination, to be considered eligible for IAS entrance test, usually known as Civil Service Examination. The Civil Service examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission [UPSC] and to be eligible to appear for the same, apart from being graduate in any discipline, candidate must be within the age limit of twenty one to thirty years. However, for candidates belonging to reserve category, maximum age limit is relaxed as follows:
  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
If you fulfill, all the aforementioned criteria, you can definitely apply for Civil Service Examination which is held once a year and the notification regarding the same is published on the official website of Union Public Service Commission.
