Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exam after scoring 57.68% aggregate Nowadays recruitment as PO through IBPS or recruitment in SBI as PO demands no minimum passing percentage in graduation. One simply needs to be a graduate from any recognised university. But, some banks have started conducting exams of PGDBF through Manual education trust, like BoB , IDBI, Indian Bank etc requires minimum 60 percent in graduation. But again, it depends on the exam for which you are appearing. But, till now NO minimum percentage is required for IBPS PO or SBI PO. |

Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exam after scoring 57.68% aggregate Dear Riyaz, Yes you are eligible for the Bank PO Exam if you are in the final year of B.E. and have 57.68% marks in aggregate till six semesters. As per the latest amendments by the banks in the eligibility criteria , the minimum educational qualification required for Bank PO exam is just graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university. There is no percentage bar for the Bank PO Exam now. The State Bank of India is accepting online applications for the posts of 1500 PO. The Date Of Online Registration of Application is 30 Jan , 2013 - 28 feb , 2013 and the examination will be conducted on 24th Of April ,2013. The Other Qualifications Required For Bank PO exams are : a) Age Limit : your age must lie in between 21-30 years. b) Age Relaxation : 3 years relaxation is given to OBC Candidates and 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates c) Nationality : You must be an Indian Citizen. d) Number Of Attempts : General Candidates : 4 OBC candidates : 7 SC/ST canddiates : No Limits. Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exam after scoring 57.68% aggregate Since you have not Completed your graduation, so you are Not eligible to apply for the BANK PO exams right now BANK PO exams are conducted by IBPS on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks and SBI conducts its own PO exams. Eligibilty for the IBPS BANK PO exams: Graduation Pass with minimum 60% marks Age should be between 21 and 30 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Eligibilty for the SBI BANK PO exams: Graduation Pass Age should be between 21 and 30 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations So, Complete your graduation and than apply for the BANK PO exams |

Graduation must be done from a recognized university 4. age limit is 20-30 years 5. Relaxation to those who belong to SC and ST OBC category 6. Minimum percentage required is 50% in Graduation So you said that you have 57 percentage then you are way ahead of the minimum percentage required for the exam so its better you stop worrying about everything and start preparing for the exam as the exam are very tough to crack because the seats are limited and level of competition is very high because thousands of candidate compete for some few hundred seats. Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exam after scoring 57.68% aggregate P.O. - Probationary Officer, to become a P.O. one has to crack its exam conducted generally by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) and you are eligible to apply for SBI & IBPS P.O. Exam as you are a Graduate. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation in any stream of Education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with good knowledge over computer operation. So don't worry and start preparing for the examination. Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO: -Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. -Age should be between 21 to 30 years in case of General Category. -There is age relaxation available for other categories . For SC/ST it is 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years. PWD category also get 10 years of age relaxation. Bank PO Paper Pattern: -Objective Type paper will be there and 200 questions will be asked. There will be 5 sections and you have to pass in very section to qualify the exam. -Negative marks will be given for wrong answers. So you have to be careful before attempting. -Those who pass paper will be called for Interview. -The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the paper and Interview. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in Graduation for the above exam. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree exam in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation. Age limit is 21-30 years ,relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST is 5 Years and relaxation for OBC is 3 Years 2. Candidate must be a citizen of India. 3. Candidate Should have at least 60% marks in Intermediate or Diploma (After 10th) or graduation in any discipline from a recognized College or University. 4. Fluency in English and Knowledge of Local language is must. 5. Must have basic Knowledge in computers like MS Office . 6. Candidates must have valid IBPS score obtained in Common Written Examination or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India. all the best |

No specific marks are mentioned for most of the exams. Upper age limit for P.O is 30 years. Reserved category candidates like OBC and SC/ST can have relaxation in upper age limit. |
