Re: How to apply for CA course after passing 12th in science? Best institutes/colleges for CA course?

Sir , I am a science student .I am interested in becoming a CA . Can I become a CA? I heard that CPT entrance exam is also conducted in the month of December, is it true ? If it is also in the month of Dec, I think that I can go for CA coaching class up to the month of Dec , so that I can get some more basics for accountancy and related laws. Can u please tell me how to apply for CA ?

Any student who has passed 10th standard can apply for CA course. One has to qualify CPT exam in order to get admission into CA course.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry level examination for admission to the Chartered Accountancy Course. (Also, any student with higher qualifications than 10th class such as B.Com, M.Com, CS, MBA, etc., has to appear and pass CPT Examination to join the Chartered Accountancy Course.)

To apply for CPT, please read this notification carefully... http://icaiexam.icai.org/announcements_cpt.php
For guidance on how to apply and register, please visit http://icaiexam.icai.org/faq_cpt.php

One who is really motivated to achieve can grab free online CPT training from www.cashiksha.com and prepare themselves with self discipline.

Some good institutes for CA-CPT are..
Alva's Education Institution
Maksi CA Institute
ETEN CA Institute
TIME (recommended)
I'd request an aspiring student to be very selective while joining any institute. If one can adapt, I'd advice to relocate if any good institutes are not available close to their residence.

Good Luck!
