It offers courses in modern Indian, classical Indian and western drama, voice and speech, yoga, mime and movement, acting and improvisation, scenic designing, costume designing, stage lighting, make-up, theatre music and theatre architecture. Other institutes include Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi National Center for the Performing Arts, Mumbai Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad. If you are interested in direction, cinematography, scripting etc, then good institutes are Film and Television Institute of India, Pune Institute of Film Technology, Chennai. |
