INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION  ISRO is engaged in application of space science and space technology for the development of society at large and serving the nation by achieving self reliance by indigenous developing capability to design and develop space transportation system and satellite. ELIGIBILITY 1. B.E / B.TECH or equivalent in first class with minimum 65 % aggregate . 2. age ~ 20 - 35 on feb SELECTION PROCESS > candidate has to fill the application online. > based on academic performance and bio-data candidate will be called for screening test. > candidate qualified in screening test will called for the written exam. > based on the performance on written exam , candidate will be called for the interview. SYLLABUS FOR THE ISRO ENTRANCE EXAM 1. PHYSICAL ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE This section will cover topics like ~ > electrons and holes in semi conductor > hall effect ,junction theory > MOS and CMOS types > basic and opto electronic > different types of diodes etc. 2. SIGNAL AND SYSTEM > co-relation functions > spectral density > fourier series > random signals and probality 3.NETWORK THEORY > networks theorem > combination of 2 ports > transient response > network analysis technique > network graph and their application. 4.ELECTROMAGNETIC THEORY > laplace and poisson equation > maxwell equation > transmission lines 5. ANALOG ELECTRIC CIRCUIT > About amplifiers > small signal analysis > circuits and application 6. DIGITAL ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT > transistor > boolean algebra > half adder, full adder > rom and their application 7. CONTROL SYSTEM > design of control system > compensators > nichols chart 8 .
