For IAS exam 2011 the following are the details:--- Date of Notification: 19.02.2011 Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011 Date of Exam: 12.06.2011 and remember one thing the syllabus for the exam has changes there is no special subject is available for students..and have general paper for all graduates. |

So, if you are interested to apply for civil services examination, then please apply for this exams before 21st/March/2011. After completing this dates, You can not apply for IAS 2011 Examinations. |

Re: Last date of application for IAS exam? Date of IAS exam? From the coming year i.e from 2011 the pattern of the civil service examination will be changed to CSAT. The details are as follows Date of notification will be on 19-02-2011. Last date of receipt of application is on 21-03-2011. It means that the application should reach the head office in New Delhi on or before 21-03-2011. So its better that you send the application 5 days before the last date of receipt of application. The exam will be held on 12-06-2011. So,prepare well for the new format.You can get the syllabus at the official website of the UPSC. All the best |

Graduation in any stream is the minimun qualification for this examination. The advertisement for IAS exam is still to come,it is expected to be announced in the month of feb 2011.
