Re: How much percentage is required for UGC JRF? Sir i have completed M.Sc.zoology with 55.67% marks....but i got it from improvement exam..before Improvemnt exam my marks was low than 55%...plz tell me...can i attempt net JRF exam nd other who is related from my field.... |

HELLO,  Minimum marks to be obtained in NET for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for lectureship: The candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below: CATEGORY : GENERAL Minimum Marks (%) to be obtained - PAPER – I - 40% PAPER– II - 40% PAPER– III -75 (50 %) CATEGORY : OBC PAPER – I -35 % PAPER– II - 35% PAPER– III -67.5 (45 %) rounded off to 68 CATEGORY : PWD/SC/ST PAPER – I - 35% PAPER– II - 35% PAPER– III - 60 (40 %) FOR MORE INFO, VISIT : http://ugcnetonline.in/index.php GOOD LUCK |

Re: How much percentage is required for UGC JRF? Your question is quite incomplete any way you may want to know regarding NET JRF. NET - National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC for selection of Lectureship and JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). Post Graduation candidate having secured 55% marks(50% for SC/ST candidate) is eligible to apply for JRF of NET as well as Lectureship. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Post Graduation Degree with aforementioned marks from a recognised University is eligible for JRF & Lectureship of NET. Friend, -- NET stands for National Eligibility Test. -- The required eligibility criteria for NET is mentioned below: # Candidate should be below the age of 28 years. # Candidate should have Post-graduate degree with atleast 55 percent taken. -- For more information, you should visit the official website of UGC. -- The exam notification generally comes in the months of October-November. -- The exam fee for NET is around Rs. 450. |

NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted mainly to certified candidates for the post of lectureship and Junior Research fellowship post. If you want to apply for JRF, then your age should not be more than 28 years. You have to choose the subject in NET on the basis of your post graduation only, the list of subjects is available in the official website of UGC. You can also download the previous year paper of NET Examination from the UGC website for Practice. Notification will be published soon in the month of October Next year and the application form fees of NET is Rs 450, you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank. Wait for the Notification and then apply for NET Examination. There are total 3 papers in NET and you have to scored minimum 50% marks in each one of the paper, only then you will be able to cracked the NET Examination, if you need more details then check official website of UGC. http://www.ugcnetonline.in |
