ELIGIBILITY: Age limit: The applicant minimum age limit is 21 years. The applicant maximum age limit is below 30 years. The other categories upper age relaxation is applicable by the Government of India. 3 years for OBC. 5 years for SC\St. The candidate need to complete the Graduation from any recognized university. No minimum percentage required for this exam. Final year appearing candidates are eligible. The candidate should be citizen of India. Both male & female candidates are eligible. KAS-Karnataka Administrative Service. KAS exam has been conducted by the [B]K[/]arnataka Public Service Commission. Eligibility details:- Candidate should be complete graduation or any equivalent degree from a recognised university. Candidate don't need any percentage restrictions to apply this exam. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 10 years age relaxation for PWD candidates. Re: What is the maximum and minimum age limit to apply for KAS exam Dear friend, Age Limit for KAS exam: Every candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government. Provided that the upper age limit shall be relaxed by five years in respect of a candidate who belongs to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or category-I of other Backward classes and by three years in respect of a candidate who belongs to other categories of Backward classes. Provided further that the upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. The maximum and Minimum age for KAS is from 21 to 30 years for general candidate which is relaxed for reserved candidate for OBC up to 3 Years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years. The basic qualification needed for Karnataka Administrative Services Examination is Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University. The age is also a criteria for applying. Hence your age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category Candidate. There is age relaxation available for other categories like OBC, SC/ST, PWD and Ex Servicemen. The number of attempts are limited if you are General and OBC category with 4 and 7 attempts respectively. For SC/ST category candidates there is no limit in attempts. The examination will have three stages that you have to clear: -Preliminary Examination -Mains Exam -Personal Interview If you score good marks and you are high on merit list then you will be selected as KAS officer. Minimum age to apply to KAS is 21 years, for general category. Maximum age to apply for KAS is 30 years, for general category.
