Re: Am I eligible to become an Army soldier if I am 5'1 height? Hi You are not eligible because the minimum height required for joining the Indian army is 5.4 inches at least and as you are having a height of 5.1, you are not allowed to join the Indian army with this height. |

If you want to join indian army after matriculation , There is an age factor . Age required is 17 yrs. and height required is different for differnt regions. There is relaxation for Himalaya region , Nepalese, UK, Dogra class etc. And after engineering you can also join indian army through SSB in officer cadre. Re: Am I eligible to become an Army soldier if I am 5'1 height? The height and weight requirements for Soldiers in Indian Army varies according to the regions in India. So you have not stated your region or from where you belong in India. India is divided into six geographical regions and height required is slightly different for every region. So you have to be check from which region you are and what minimum height is required for it. For soldier position one should have a very good height and physical fitness then only you will be selected. For all the details regarding Army Soldier post you can download the attachment . It has the height and weight criteria clearly mentioned. |

HI FRIEND, I think your height is not suffice to become a soldier because the minimum height required is about 5.4 feet but yours is of 5.1. you can be placed in army for other jobs like clerks in office or for cooking or as dhobi. for more details visit indian army |
