Re: Can I get admission in IIIT Bangalore based on GRE ranking? The admission to the M.Tech. programs at IIIT Banglore is done on the basis of its own entrance examination. The institute also allows admission on the basis of GATE and GRE scores. For getting admission on the basis of GRE score you will have to appear TOEFL also. TOEFL is not required for the students of following countries Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, and the United States. Depending upon your GRE score you could be exempted from the online entrance examination of the institute. For that, you will have apply when the application process would be in progress. On the basis of GRE score, academics and other credentials like project works and research papers published, a list of meritorious students is announced by the institute who are given exemption from entrance examination of the institute and these students directly appear the Interview round. Those who do not get selected in this process, will have to appear the institutes' online entrance exam. Refer the institute's for more details. http://www.iiitb.ac.in/ |
