There is no such syllabus for upcl exam Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd came into existence on April 1, 2001 after the formation of Uttarakhand. Eligibility for Assistant engineer: An Indian national between the age 18-35 years on 01/01/09 with a degree in electrical, mechanical and civil engineering from a recognized university with minimum 65% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA throughout. For SC/ST only the minimum pass percentage is enough to apply. Eligibility for junior engineer: An Indian national between the age 18-35 years on 01/01/09 with a degree in electrical, mechanical and civil engineering from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate or 5.5 CGPA throughout. For SC/ST only the minimum pass percentage is enough to apply. The interview questions of UPCL company are like 1.Why we are using Isolation Power Transformer inplace of commercial power transformer? What's the difference between them? 2.why neutral grounding transformer is used for generator and why it is not used for transformers? 3.The ajanta painting belongs to the: (a) Harappan period (b) Mauryan period (c) Buddhist period (d) Gupta period |

UPCL Entrance Exam Syllabus :  Selection process based on written exam Interview Total questions : 200 Engineering subjects : 150 General Knowledge : 20 Reasoning : 20 General Hindi : 10 Written exam centres : Agra Allahabad Lucknow Meerut Interview will be conducted at Lucknow short listed candidates on the basis of written test , will be called for interview |

It caters to the power needs of the state and maintains transmission lines and substations in the entire state. It supplies power to over 1.5 million customers in the state. The main focus in to provide its customers reliable and 24X7 power supply at economical rates. Who can apply? For Assistant engineer: An Indian national between the age 18-35 years on 01/01/09 with a degree in electrical, mechanical and civil engineering from a recognized university with minimum 65% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA throughout. For SC/ST only the minimum pass percentage is enough to apply.
