Re: How can I join Income tax officer course? Income Tax Officer exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) once in a year. Eligibility Details:- The candidates minimum age should be 18 years,The candidates maximum age should be 27years. The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Candidate should not be score any secure percentage in graduation because there is no need of percentage restrictions in this exam. The applicant should be a citizen of India. |

Hello sir.........*-*/-*-*-**-* Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by SSC For this 1st you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public. Also your age should be in between 18 years to 27 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. If you are interested to become an Income Tax Officer, First you can crack the SSC CGL Examination Which is conducted by SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) in yearly ones, For this SSC CGL Examinations some eligibility criteria are there i.e.. Educational Qualification Age Limit Nationality ....ect..... This Examination is conducted in two levels i.e. Tier- I Tier-II after that conduct a Interview SSC CGL 2013 Educational Qualification: (as on 1st January,2013) Compiler : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject. Re: How can I join Income tax officer course? 1. Ordinarily Residents: a person who lives in India for more than one hundred and eighty-two days of a financial year and he has to pay tax. 2. Non- ordinarily Residents: a person who does not live in India for more than one hundred and eighty-two days of a financial year. He has to pay tax for the income accumulated in India. 3. Non Residents: a person who stayed outside India for 7 to 9 years is considered as non resident. He is entitled for income tax only for income produced in India. |

Re: How can I join Income tax officer course? You do not need to do any course. You have to appear in the SSC Combined GraduateLevel exams. This exam is conduicted by SSC each year in three stages- Tier1, tier 2 and Interview Eligibilty to apply for this exams is: Graduation pass in any stream No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation AGE- Minimum 18 years Maximum 27 years AGE Relaxations- 3 years for OBC candidates, 7 years for SC/ST candidates |

The candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. No percentage required for this exam in Graduation. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. The candidate minimum age limit is 18 years. The candidate maximum age limit is 27 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for the other categories. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category. 5 years upper age relaxation for SC\ST category. Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for INCOME TAX OFFICER exam. To become Income Tax officer you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public. Also your age should be in between 18 years to 27 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
