Re: What is the syllabus and pattern of IAS exam? Next UPSC Prelims/CSAT Exams will be held on 26th MAY 2013 Last date to apply is 4th April 2013 In the Prelims exams there will be two papers. Below are the details of these papers: Paper one History of India and Indian National Movement. Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World. Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization. General Science. Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc. Paper Two Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision-making and problem-solving Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills; General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. English Language Comprehension skills |

hi friend, IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service Any degree from recognized University....... there are No percentage required... Final year students also apply for it... Age limit:- minimum- 21 years , maximum-30 years. (OBC +3 , SC/ST +5)... there are only 4 attempts available for General category (For OBC 7 attempt limit and for SC/ST no attempt limit)..... Selection Process: **Prelim Exam ,**Main Exam ,**Personal Interview..... For more details :- I have attached the syllabus for IAS exam......... All the best.....

Eligibility: Nationality: You should be citizen of India. Educational Qualification: You should pass the Bachelor Degree from recognized University. No percentage required to eligible for this exam. Fina year pursuing candidates are eligible. Age limit: Your minimum age limit is 21 years. your maximum age limit is 30 years. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category. 5 years for SC\ST categories. 10 years for PH candidates. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year .This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IAS Exam. IAS examination is divided into 3 stages :- 1)Preliminary 2)Main 3)Personal Interview . IAS Preliminary Exam 2013 (Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs.

What is the syllabus and pattern of IAS exam? i wanted to know what is the syllabus, pattern to become an ias officer? is csat for prliminary and the paers or pattern for main exams,please give me information. |
