Dear Friend First of all I would like to tell you that University does not require AICTE approval but it should be approved by the University Grants Commission. AICTE stands for the All India council of Technical Education.It is a council which provided approval to colleges or university for the different courses like bachelor 's degree in engineering ,technology etc. Annamalai University is UGC recognized and the courses offered by this university are AICTE approved which are : 1.Bachelor's degree in engineering in the following trades: >>Information technology. >>Computer Science engineering 2.Master's degree in engineering >>Computer science engineering Friend it totally depends upon how you see university and what is your conception about it.Annamalai University is a good place to pursue your different undergraduate as well as post graduate courses.
