sir I am doing (MSC BOTANY) and I want to clear (ifs) exam so I can take ZOOLOGY,BOTANY both as optional subject in (ifs) mains exam or not please tell?

i have done my B.Tech in Electronics & communication branch, Planning to write ifs.
Can i choose Agricultural Engineering & Forestry as my optional subjects. Are they scoring enough.
If not please let me know what optional can i opt for ??

am pursuing final year electronics and communication engineering and do i want to choose only engineering subjects as my optional subjects or a combination like forestry and agriculture engineering is allowed.and there is any chance of taking subjects like forestry ,geology,agriculture .. that is other than engineering subjects

Indian Forest Service Exams are conducted by UPSC

You can apply if you meet the below eligibilty conditions:


Education
Graduation pass and in Graduation you should have studied at least one of the below subjects :
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics,
Physics, Statistics, Zoology

or
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry

Or
BE/Btech pass

Age-
Minimum age to apply is 21 years
Maximum age to apply is 30 years
OBC can apply till 33 years
SC/ST can apply till 35 years

Attempts-
General Category candidates can apply for 4 times
OBC category candidates can apply for 7 times


Exam Pattern
Paper I General English
Paper II General Knowledge
Paper III Optional paper
Paper IV Optional paper
Paper V Optional paper
Paper VI Optional paper

You have to choose two optional papers from the below list, Each optional Papers will have two papers each in the exams.

Agriculture
Agricultural Engineering
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Forestry
Geology
Mathematics
Mechanical Engineering
Physics
Statistics
Zoology


You cannot choose Agriculture and Forestry as Optional subjects.This combination is not allowed

now i'am in 10th as taking pt in optional subject any problem can arise in selecting ifs carrier or selecting pt can damage wish to become IFS
