For taking admission in M.Tech Course you will have to apply for GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).This exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology every year.Exam notification for GATE Comes in the month of September every year.For this year it will comes in the month of September.Its Entrance will be taken in the January 2014. To apply for this exam you will require to meet these Eligibility conditions : Educational qualification (in any one):- You should have a 4 years Engineering degree from recognized university. You should have Post Graduation degree in Computer Application. You should have Integrated Post Graduation degree of 4 years in Information Technology/Computer Application. Exam pattern of GATE :- Question will be divided into four sections. Total number of questions will be 65. Total marks for this exam will be 100. Questions Type Levels :- 1. Multiple choice questions. 2. Common data questions. 3. Linked answer questions. 4. Numerical answer questions. Syllabus of GATE for Computer Application/Information Technology :- Engineering Mathematics : Mathematical Logic. Probability. Combinatorics. Graph Theory. Linear Algebra. Set theory and Algebra. Numerical Methods. Calculas. Computer Science and Information Technology : Digital Logic. Computer Organization and Architecture. Programming and Data Structure. Algorithms. Theory of Computation.
