Re: Which subjects are there in science stream? Hi friend, There are two branches in science stream: >>Medical >>Non Medical In Medical science, the subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In Non Medical, the subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Also English is compulsory in CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education ) board. Apart from these there are optional subjects that are Hindi, Physical Education, Computer science, Sanskrit, Music etc. The student have to choose any one from these. These subjects help the student in increasing their aggregate and all over development. There are also some regional language subjects in some State Boards like Marathi in Maharashtra Board, Punjabi in Punjab Board etc. I hope this information help you. Thank you... |

The main subjects for Science stream are Physics, Mathamatics, and Chemistry (Compulsory) Apart from the if you want to go for engineering I would recommend you to take Mathamatics and for B.Pharma and MBBS you should take Bi Now comes the fifth subject which includes option like Computer Science, IT , Physical Education and others I would recommend you to take the four subjects and Physical education or CS to boost your percentage Best of Luck..!! |

HI There are a total of five subjects for Science stream The main subjects in Science are Physics and Chemistry (Compulsory) now along with this if you want to go for engineering I would recommend you to take Maths and for B.Pharma and MBBS you should take Bio too It would be great if you take these four subjects together as you can go to every field with these four subjects. Maths is the purest science hence it is the top consideration for admisson by enggineering coleges. Other science stream for persuing graduation are 1 computer science 2 mecanics 3 cemistry 3 biology 4 astronomy 5 electronics 6 merchantile 7 electrical other then thease famous branch of science there are some mix sience brances with large number of sub branch some of them are listed below 1 kinetics 2 electromagnetics 3 thermodynamics 4 inorganic chemistry 5 acuastic 6 aerodynamics 7 aerostatics 8 dactylography 9 electrostatics 10 histology and thousends are more. |

The major subjects that are covered under the Science stream are: Physics Chemistry Biology English Mathematics Biotechnology Computer Science Physics, chemistry & maths are the compulsory subjects & for the others you can choose a combination of your choice. |

Hi, If you opt for science stream then there are two combinations.They are: -Physics,Chemistry,Maths with Biology or -Physics,Chemistry,Maths with Computer science. If you are interested to appear for engineering entrance exam then you will have to opt for PCM with computer science.And if you want to appear for medical entrance exam then you will have to opt for PCM with biology. If you are weak in maths then you can opt for PCB with Computer science. I hope you are clear now.Best of luck! |

If you are taking admission in 12th science then if you take physics and mathematics then you will be considered as science stream student. I will suggest you to take chemistry subject also with physics and mathematics. Because after your science study if you want to appear in any entrance examination or any other examination then they give criterion that you should have physics, mathematics and chemistry. So it is better that you have physics, chemistry and mathematics in12th science. There is also one stream which is called bio-science. In that stream you may not take the mathematics subject if you are weak in mathematics. This is not pure science stream. You may take admission in this stream also. Best Wishes. |
