Hello dear friend, If are in the final year of your engineering in Mechanical you are eligible for the following exams and you can write them. 1.GATE(graduate aptitude test in engineering):This is exam which was conducted by IITS for admission into MTECH 2.IES(Indian engineering service):It was conducted by UPPSC for engineering students to get jobs 3.CAT(Common admission test):It is the exam to do MBA In famous institues 4.ICET:For MBA IN local institutes 5.GRE/TOFEL 6.Banks P.O 7.Civil services(Prilims and Mains) 8.GMAT |

Re: Which exams can I give while in final year Mechanical Engineering? hi, You can give following exam in final year of mechanical engineering;- IES(Indian engineering service) IPS(Indain police service) IAS(Indian Administrative service) as well as other civil services exam. If you want to go post graduation as well as best scholarship, then you have to apply GATE exam. IES/IPS.IAS other exam are conducted by UPSC in a year. Eligibility;- you must be graduate from a recognized univerrsity/appearing students are also eligible. General age limit is 21-30 years. You must be Indian citizen. GATE exam eligibility;- -----you must be passed a B.TECH degree from a recognized university/Appearing candidate are also eligible. ---There is no age limit. Information help you............... |

For IBPS -->>For this your minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 28 years. For SSC CGL -->>Your minimum age should be 18 years and not above 27 years. For CDS -->>Your minimum age should be 18 years and not above 24 years. Marks Required For IBPS,SBI -->>Your minimum marks in mechanical engineering should be 60%. For SSC CGL -->>Your minimum marks in B.Tech/B.E should be 50% from recognized university. For getting jobs in Private related to your stream,you will have to get passed in GATE/PSU(Public sector undertaking) Exam. After getting passed and have a valid Rank you will able to get jobs in Navratnas/Maharatnas Companies. Exam Pattern for GATE/PSU Exam -->>It will include questions from 3 sections. -->>These sections are :- General Knowledge and Reasoning and Academic Knowledge I & II. The list of companies in which you will able to get jobs are :-

Degree, you can apply for the following Exams:- GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering - For admission to M.Tech. Courses in IITs, NITs etc. which is conducted by IIT. IES - Indian Engineering Service conducted by UPSC every year for appointment of young Engineers in the top technical post under Central Govt. various Dept. Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC every year to become IAS/IPS/IRS etc. |

Private sector companies conduct their interviews in a single day and it may include written tests as well as verbal interviews. To apply for the jobs in the private sector you can apply through job advertisements in newspapers and also through job portals like naukri.com etc To apply for the jobs in the Government sector, you can apply to the below jobs: >> GATE Exams: This exam is conducted by IIT Eligibilty is BE/BTECH pass,Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply You need GATE scores to apply to PSU for jobs >> Engineering Services exams: It is conducted by UPSC every year Eligibilty is BE/BTECH pass,Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply Age should be between 21 and 30 years. OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations |
