Re: Can I pursue LLB course after doing B.Com Hons from Calcutta University? Any candidate with graduation degree is eligible for the LLB course. Which means that you are also eligible provided you meet the percentage criteria to apply for the LLB course. Now it is important to remember that candidates who have completed graduation are eligible for the 3 years long LLB course. While candidates who have completed 12th standard are eligible for the 5 years duration BA LLB course. On merit there is no difference between two courses. The BA LLB course includes the subjects of graduation course as well LLB. Most universities have shited to the BA LLB course. The Department of Law, Calcutta University only offers BA LLB course. At present it is not offering the LLB course therefore it is not possible for you to do LLB 3 years from Calcutta University. You must find some other university to do 3 years LLB course. Delhi University offers 3 course LLB course so does the Banaras Hindu University. There are several other options as well. Eligibility 1. The candidate must hold graduation degree. 2. The percentage requirement is 45%. 3. 40 percent is the requirement for SC/ST. 4. The candidate should not be more than 30 years old to apply. 5. SC/ST should not be more than 35 years old to apply. |
