Eligibilty for applying to the NDA exams Educational Qualifications: Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects. AGE- Minimum age 16.5 years Maximum age- 19 years Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply Selection Procedure involves: >> Written Test >> SSB interview Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014 Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams |

Dear friend in NDA exam there is no age relaxation for any category candidates. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings. - Army wings - Navy wings - Air force Wings Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. For Navy / Air force wings:- Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board. There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination . Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam. So, friend there is no any age relaxation for ST students in NDA exam. All the best....... |

At present, there is no UPSC notification inviting applications for NDA examination. However, there will be an exam in August and the notification will be issued in the first week of May. The basic educational qualification is 12th Pass. while for Army, there is no prescription of any subject, for Air and Naval wings, there is a prescription that Physics and mathematics should be their subjects in 12th Class. Age limit is prescribed by date of birth with an earlier and later limit. Roughly, it is 16.5 to 19 years. There is no relaxation of age limit for any category. |

Candidates willing to join the Army Wing of the Academy, just need to qualify Higher Secondary examination, irrespective of the combination of subjects in the same but to join the Air Force and the Naval wing of the Academy, candidates must have the combination of Physics and Maths in the Higher Secondary level. As far as age limit is concerned, candidates need to be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years - 19 years. There is no relaxation is age for candidates belonging to any category. The examination is conducted two times a year by Union Public Service Commission and therefore, for the latest information, refer to the commissions official website. |
