Re: Am I eligible to sit for NDA entrance exam? I am a 10th class student

Dear Friend,

The Full Form Of NDA Is National Defense Academy. The NDA Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

This examination is conducted twice in a year in the months of April and August.

The NDA Exam which is conducted in the month of April is NDA-I and the NDA Exam which is conducted in the month of August is NDA-II.

The Qualifications Required for NDA Examination are :

a) you must have completed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

b) There is no minimum percentage of marks required in 12th so you just need a pass certificate to be eligible.

c) your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

d) No relaxation for any candidates in upper age.

e) You must be an unmarried male candidate as girl candidates are not eligible for this exam.

f) The candidate must be a citizen of India.

So on the basis of the above mentioned , its quite clear that there is no chance for 10th pass candidates to appear in the NDA Exam.

So , you need to pass the 12th standard with PCM from any recognized board.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
