Quite a few colleges offer EIE since there are limited job opportunities in this stream. Each and every company from private stream to Government stream need experience but for some of the PSU's experience is not required as they need freshers. Please go through the Employment News and apply for each an every company which you can. Please don't get frustrated enough because if you have enough subject in your hand then you will definitely find a job.

For details regarding PSU's please visit
http://www.india.gov.in/citizen/PSU.php

Going through the core sector jobs will be the best option but when you need a job urgently then you can even apply for the Software companies like Infosys, Wipro, Syntel, Cognizant,.etc.Companies like Wipro are not purely software side since they even include Electrical and many other such sectors.

You can even apply for PSC,UPSC and SSC jobs. Please visit their official sites to get deilals regarding the examination.
