The test is not conducted to assess the candidates eligibility to teach in higher secondary schools. However, if you want to teach in higher secondary schools upto class 12, you must hold a masters degree in the relevant discipline along with B.Ed and must have qualified State Eligibility Test for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher, conducted on state as well as national level. To be eligible for the test, you must have scored a minimum of 50% in the masters degree program and must have completed B.Ed from a recognized university. |
