The syllabus of Postal Assistant exam is below mentioned:-

* English Language.

* Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning.

* Maths.

* General Awareness.

The educational qualifications and marks relaxation regarding with postal assistant exam are below mentioned:-

* Opponents must have finished 12th standard from any approved institution.

* Marks relaxation:- 60% marks, 50% marks and 45% marks for Open, OBC, and SC/ST opponents.

The age criteria and relaxation regarding with postal assistant exam are below mentioned:-


* 18-27 years for Open opponents.

* Relaxation:- 3 years, 5 years and 10 years for OBC, SC/ST and PH opponents.

* Citizenship:- Opponents must have an Indian citizenship.

Dear Asha,

Postal assistants may be engaged in either of the two sort of work profiles accessible – Indian postal sector’s and Postal Life Insurance.

The eligibility criteria required for Postal Assistant Examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of 12th with 60% marks from any accredited board.

* 50% marks for OBc and 45% marks for SC/ST contenders should be required in 12th.

* Age limit:- 18-27 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC, 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contenders.

* You should be know that state of language from where you will apply.

* Nationality:- Indian.

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

$$ If you wish to give this exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out student or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution.

$$ At HS level you need to get 60% of marks in aggregate if you are a general category candidate. BC candidates needs to get 50% of marks and SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks in aggregate.

$$ The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years. The upper age limit is 27 years for general category candidates.

$$ There is age relaxation for the following category:

~SC/ST Candidates: 5 yrs.
~OBC Candidates: 3 yrs.
~PWD Candidates: 10 yrs.

$$ You need to be well versed in the local language of the State you are applying. This will help you to carry out out job smoothly.

$$ Even if you know hindi or have studied hindi at matriculation level or above then that will help too.

Scheme of Examination:-

$$ Questions will be mainly objective and therefore conceptual type. The total time limit for the exam is 120 minutes and within this short span of time you will have to answer 100 objective questions of 100 marks each.

$$ In addition to that you have to sit for a computer test which has been further broken into two tests of 15 minutes each. One is about data entry comprising of figures and data and the other one is about writing a passage in either hindi or english.

$$ Subject areas which needs special mention are as follows:-

-Mathematics
