Re: Can I join Air Force after completion of B.Sc in Physics? Yes, you can join Indian Air Force after completion of B.Sc in Physics. To join Indian Indian Air Force, you have to go through CDS Examination conducted by UPSC every year. CDS Exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)twice in a year. Re: Can I join Air Force after completion of B.Sc in Physics? Yes, you can join Indian Air Force after completion of B.Sc. with Physics through appearing for CDS examination. CDS-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical Fitness. As you have completed Graduation with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you are eligible to apply for Indian Air Force Academy of CDS. The selection is through:- Written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test. There are many other posts available in INDIAN AIR FORCE. but if you have studied the PHYSICS and MATHS till your 12th standard from recognized board than you can join AIR FORCE as pilot. you need to be Graduate from Recognized University and you should be below 24 yrs of age for applying in CDSE exam. CDSE Syllabus: English ---------------100 QUESTIONS It includes; words, grammar and usage, structure of English language etc. General Knowledge:---- 100 QUESTIONS It includes; General Knowledge, including knowledge of current events of everyday observation, History of India, geography etc. Elementary Mathematics: -----100 QUESTIONS It includes; Arithmetic, Unitary method, Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration etc. for further information visit their website www.upsc.gov.in |

Yes you can join Indian Air Force after passing B.SC physics. For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Exam(C.D.S) C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. For C.D.S exam you age should not be above 18-23 year if you want to join Indian Air Force through C.D.S exam. If you want to join Indian Army then you age should b in between 19-24 year. There are three steep of selection:- > Written Exam > Interview > Medical exam IMPORTANT DATES FOR C.D.S.
