Usually the UPSC carry out the preliminary exam in the month of May. This exam is pre-scheduled and the dates are pre-fixed by UPSC. Please visit the official website for more details regarding the exam.

HELLO,manually prelims of the UPSC exam conducts in the month of 'may' & mains conducts in the month of 'october'.you can also get more information from the official website of UPSC.
