Re: Can i do NDA by taking commerce subject? Dear Friend, Yes you can give the NDA Exam by passing the the 12th standard with Commerce subject. The NDA Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice every for the selection of candidates in the following wings : * Indian Army * Indian Navy * Indian Air Force The UPSC has set some some qualifications required for the NDA Examination : * The candidate must have passed 12th from any recognized board. * The Candidate must be a male and unmarried. * The candidate must have Indian Nationality. * The candidate age must lie in between 16.5-19 years. * No Relaxation in upper age is given to candidates whether they belong to Reserved Categories or General Category. * * Girl Candidates are not eligible for the NDA Exam. * The candidates must be mentally and physically strong. National defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC two times every year by UPSC as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army,Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. You are absolutely eligible to join Indian Army of NDA being a candidate from Commerce stream. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental physique. Re: Can i do NDA by taking commerce subject? Yes, it is possible. Pass in 12th is the basic qualification for NDA. Subject of study is not a restriction. Those having studied physics and mathematics as subjects can join to all the three wings. Being a commerce student, you can join Army by qualifying NDA. For this, you must be an unmarried male candidate with age less than 19 years. |
