The acronym for NET is National Eligibility Test. Yes, you are eligible for NET examination. NET examination is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission) twice every year in the months of June and December. NET examination is conducted for these two following posts mentioned as below:- * JRF(Juinor Research Fellowship). * Lectureship. The eligibility criteria required for the NET examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of post-graduation with 55% marks in any stream from any accredited university. * 50% marks for SC/ST contenders. * Age limit:- 20-28 yrs - JRF. No age limit - Lectureship. * Age relaxation:- 5 yrs for OBC and SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. |

Yeah shore you are eligible for National Eligibility Test. UGC(University Grants Commission) conducting this exam every year twice, one is in the month june and next one is december. Eligibility criteria details:- The applicant should be complete Master's graduation with atleast 55%of marks from a recognised university. The master's graduation must be complete from a recognised university. For SC/ST category candidates there is a relaxation of 5% of marks. Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Final year persuing students can also be eligible for NET exam. Age criteria:- For Junior Research Fellowship(JRF)--> the maximum age limit is 28 years, and no minimum age limit. Relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates, Relaxation of 5years for SC/ST category candidates. For Lectureship--> There is no age limits for this exam. Re: Am I eligible to appear for NET exam in Management after completing MBA in finance from distance learning(SCDL) I have mentioned that several times that to apply for National Eligibility Test it is not necessary to have completed post graduation through regular mode. Candidates like yourself who have completed post graduation through distance education are also eligible to apply. All you need to do is meet the criteria for National Eligibility Test. You should also check whether your college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or not before applying. If you meet the criteria above then feel free to apply. National Eligibility Test is conducted in June and December of every year. Eligibility Criteria for NET 1. You have to be Indian citizen to apply for this exam. 2. Your qualification should be post graduation degree in any stream. 3. The degree should be obtained from UGC recognized college. 4. The minimum marks in PG course required to appear for NET are 55 percent. 5. As per government rules SC/ST requires 50 percent marks. 6. Your NET subject will be Management. 7. Even during final year students are eligible to apply. 8. The age limit is 28 years but for JRF candidate. 9. It is relaxed by 3 years for OBC students. 10. SC/ST candidates can apply for JRF till 33 years. 11. No upper age limit has been set for lecturer applicants. |
