Re: Is Ph.D degree offered by CMJ university valid? I have completed my MA in sociology from Karnataka State open university. But i do not have a Bachelor degree. can I apply for CMJ Phd? |

 Yes, Ph.D degree is offered by CMJ University valid. Because, CMJ University is approved by UGC(University Grants Commission). The selection procedure for Ph.D is mentioned as below:- * Entrance examination. * Interview. The eligibility criteria required for doing Ph.D course are prescribed as below:- * Completion of post-graduation with the relevant subject. * Minimum time is 3 yrs and maximum time is 5 yrs.  CMJ University is a private university .CMJ University PHD degree is valid because this university is recognized by UGC . So from my point of view this degree is valid for all universities but some time it will create some bad impression of research department . You will try for some other university which are approved by UGC and AICTE . Educational qualification for PHD course :- A Master's Degree in the relevant subject. Those having M.Phil Degrees will be preferred. The minimum time required is 3 year and Maximum time required is 5 years . Selection process :- Entrance exam and Interview But now they have option to direct admission in PHD course . So you should pay 1,207,000 to the CMJ university. Admission and Registration Fee = Rs. 5,000.00 University Development Fee = Rs. 2,000.00 Tuition, Guidance and Monitoring Fee (Payable in 2 Installments) =Rs. 1,20,000.00 Total =Rs. 1,27,000.00 Documents Required:- 1. 10 & 12 mark sheets (Photocopy) 2.
