Re: Best books for cracking the PO exams?

Have any suggestions about recent J k bank p.o posts, becoz , Here in valley, this bank coducts exams, with time and syllibus as per its choice. There is not much accuracy of the selection frm this bank, right from exam to the announcement of Results. We can predict frm this, some months before, this bank posted 1580 banking associates, and not a single serial of any waiting list came out. All the candidates therefrom were listed from back door.
So here we need some suggestions to crack here in the situations like this.

Re: Best books for cracking the PO exams?

In current scenario, we often see there are notifications regarding the recruitment of probationary officers by several banks. These are the entry level exams into banking sector for the graduates.

Getting selected for the bank Probationary officer post is not that much difficult.

But only thing that is required is intention to get that, making yourself the proper plan to complete the syllabus in time and putting hard efforts towards your goal of getting a bank job.

The selection procedure for probationary officers post will be same by both private banks and public sector banks. Anyway in some cases, there will be a slight difference in the eligibility criteria set by the banks.

The selection procedure will be by

1)Written test
2)Personal interview

Written test consists of questions from the following categories

1)Reasoning
2)Quantitative aptitude
3)General awareness
4)General English
5)Computer knowledge/ Marketing knowledge

One need to qualify in each of the sections. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. So one should be very careful while answering the questions.

As per the best books that i suggest are-

-For Reasoning and Aptitude, you prepare R.S.Agarwall . You know yourself how to solve a problem through this book

-For General awareness you can prepare YES Bank publications, which is a very good one even for the preliminary students also.

You can also look in www.sakshieducation.com as a online source.

-For General English also you can prepare R.S.Agarwal or any other book which provide bulk of grammar, comprehensions and synonyms.]
